Day 1: Overnight Flight
Begin your journey to a land of mountains, glacial fjords, legends, and charming people, as you set off for Norway. Dive into the culture of the region, connecting with layers of Viking history, attention-grabbing nature, and a sense of refined traditions.Day 2: Bergen, Norway
Arrive in Bergen, in the heart of the fjords, where you'll be greeted by small-town charm despite it being the second largest city in Norway. With no scheduled activities throughout the afternoon, enjoy time to explore Bergen independently. Meet your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner in the historic Bryggen neighborhood. (D)Day 3: Bergen Sightseeing
Stroll along the historic and iconic Bryggen harbor front (UNESCO) on a guided walking tour of Bergen. Vibrant hues of historic wooden buildings and the salty sea breeze blends as you gain a sense of this area's long maritime history. The rest of the day is yours to explore Bergen at your leisure. (B)Day 4: Bergen - Loen
Heading north this morning, take in the striking scenery along your journey today. Stop for lunch in a village along the way, and continue to the Nordfjord Folk Museum, an open-air cultural history museum depicting how Norwegians have lived from the 17th century to the modern day. Later, arrive at the hotel for a relaxing evening and dinner. (B, D)Day 5: Loen
Find yourself immersed in the enchanting landscapes of Norway's fjord region.Soak up the mesmerizing landscape on an exhilarating Geirangerfjord cruise in Geiranger (UNESCO). Discover Norway's mightiest waterfalls - the Seven Sisters, the Bridal Veil, and the Suitor. Marvel at the homesteads built along the steep sides of the mountains, where farmland has endured for centuries. (B, D)
Day 6: Loen - Flam
Reach great heights with today's adventures. This morning, ride the Loen Skylift, one of the world's steepest cable cars, for unrivaled views of the fjord landscape. Continue to the quaint village of Flam, your gateway to the grandeur of Aulandsfjord. Traverse the terrain on the renowned Flam Railway, one of the steepest train rides in the world, and climb 3000 feet past rushing waterfalls, looming mountains, and picturesque valleys. Descend back into Flam for your stay tonight. (B, D)Day 7: Flám - Oslo
Norway's impressive landscapes continue to weave their spell on you as you travel to Oslo today. On the way, visit the Borgund Stave Church, an awe-inspiring building dedicated in honor of Apostle Andrew in 1180. After a stop for lunch, continue to Norway's grand capital and enjoy an evening at leisure. (B)Day 8: Oslo
This morning, join a local guide and begin your day at the Fram Museum, dedicated to telling the story of Norwegian polar exploration. Venture down Karl Johan Street, passing iconic buildings such as the Royal Palace and city hall, as you take in the charming heart of downtown Oslo. This afternoon, enjoy free time to relax or continue discovering the hidden gems of Oslo on your own.Tonight, toast to your Norwegian adventure with your fellow travelers during a farewell dinner featuring traditional fare in one of Oslo's oldest buildings. Day 9: Oslo - Minneapolis

The overall activity level of this tour is a level 2. This means you like a balanced approach to travel. Walking two to three miles over the course of a day is no problem for you. You can handle a variety of terrains, from cobblestone streets to moderate hills with relative ease and without assistance. You can climb two flights of stairs with ease. Expect some full days balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure. You can handle altitudes up to 6,000 feet. While this level is appropriate for travelers that require mobility assistance devices, there could be times when you may have to sit out on some of the included activities.
Travel with an average of 37 people (maximum of 44).
This tour is not suitable for travelers who experience a fear of heights.

The Leon Skylift has an elevation of 3317 feet (1011 meters).
Some of the older properties and attractions may not have elevators.
Museums may close unexpectedly or for the observance of holidays.
Due to the remoteness of Loen, the hotels are carefully chosen yet reflective of the rustic nature of the landscape.
At Alexandra Hotel in Loen, rooms with two separate beds are often configured with one standard bed and a fold-out sofa serving as the second bed.
Triple accommodations are not available.
Single accommodations are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Single rate subject to change based on availability.
For air-inclusive reservations, the name provided at time of booking must match your government-issued ID that will be used during travel. Name changes are subject to penalties.
Please be advised, many airlines do not provide advance seat assignments until check-in at the airport. Advance seating will be subject to the airline's terms and conditions.
Prepaid tipping is not available on our tours therefore payment of customary end-of-trip gratuities for your Tour Manager, driver, hotel housekeepers, and cruise ship waitstaff should be handled individually when applicable during the course of your tour.
Economy air rate and schedule are applicable for groups of 10 or more traveling on the same flights and dates.

Passports are required for this tour at your expense. Certain countries require that your passport be valid at least 6 months beyond the dates of your travel. IMPORTANT: We recommend that travelers take a photocopy of their passport and applicable visas. It should be packed separately from your actual passport and visa. We also recommend leaving a copy at home with your emergency contact.
Collette will provide all necessary information, updates, and supporting documents for your travel requirements, including visa and Electronic Travel Authorizations (ETAs), if required, approximately 60-90 days prior to your departure.
ETIAS visa waiver requirements are anticipated to begin during the last quarter of 2026, for a fee, when visiting a Schengen Area Country. To identify Schengen Area Countries and to complete the ETIAS application, please visit https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias_en
A deposit of $698 per person is due upon reservation. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. Reservations made after the seat reduction date of March 13, 2027 are based upon availability.
Final payment due by June 21, 2027. Deposits are refundable up until March 20, 2027.
